LONG STORY SHORT

Attorney B. Scott Winkler, was born in the city of Bakersfield. Spending his whole life in Kern County, he is able to understand a hometown perspective, that very few “local” attorneys simply do not understand… “Bakersfield Business”. With the industrial, commercial, and population growth that Kern County has experienced in the past 10 years, it is essential to recognize the growth as well as the “small town” feel of the Central Valley in order to properly negotiate and explain to other counsel how the local residents will likely react to a particular situation.

Attorney Winkler, attended public schools in Bakersfield, CA. He was blessed with parents that continuously engrained in him that “you can become anything you want, if you set your mind to it.” Upon completing high school and college he earned two degrees in Finance and Political Science (Pre-Law), with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude. Scott came back home and entered the banking industry, ultimately reaching a position of Vice-President at Wells Fargo Bank, Regional Commercial Banking Office. Shortly after, he applied for law school and was accepted to California Pacific School of Law. Over the next four years, he managed a multi-million-dollar portfolio and was still able to maintain one of the highest GPA’s in his law school class, where he was awarded The West Law School Award for student excellence.

Upon passing the Bar exam in 2001, Mr. Winkler worked for Criminal Law Specialist, David Torres, before making the decision to open an office in Shafter, CA. He is currently serving North Kern County, and continues to retain an office for all Metropolitan Bakersfield cases, located at 2204 Truxtun Ave (across from Mercy Hospital). Scott Winkler, is a competitive, hard working attorney, who will spend countless hours on his client’s cases to obtain the best results possible. Please contact Attorney B. Scott Winkler with any of your legal needs and if a consultation is necessary, you will receive a first time, free consultation.

Personal Bio

“My calling to the law came in 1980, as I was in Junior High School. In the middle of the school day, I was called to the office and escorted to the conference room where two Bakersfield Police Investigators were very friendly and asked if I would answer questions regarding events that took place the prior weekend.
